Come learn about the science behind using music for recovery through the field of music therapy. Virginia Gray, a board certified music therapist with Houston Methodist Hospital, will describe the education and clinical work of a music therapist, review the history of the field and how it has changed over the course of the last 70 years, and highlight music as a human phenomenon and therapeutic tool.
